How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?

My main product, my short film, is sold by my ancillary texts, film magazine review and poster. The are an effective combination because the photos I used in the ancillaries reflect my film.

I asked a focus group to look at my three pieces together:

• They liked how the review and film linked together with the same actress
• All the products look professional, this makes them more effective
• The poster stands out because it doesn't show the actress, and although its still a good poster this could make it less effective when combined with the other pieces. 
• The review works really well as it reflects one of the main characters looking back on their journey represented by the road
• The red rose describes the romance and tragedy in the film

When viewed in combination the ancillaries work way to reflect both the story, the style, tone and atmosphere
